Druiett's practice revolves around the abstract and experimentation, with a lot of her work exploring analogue photography where each roll of film undergoes a tested operation of chemical manipulation both before and after the photograph is taken. This unconventional attitude towards photography means each photo is unique and impossible to recreate. Druiett is currently exploring a different side to the abstract and experimental tone of her work by taking a more conceptual path to her project in looking into pollution and climate change, doing so by photographing chemicals and other polluting materials from various household substances through a macro lens.
